I don’t actually live in Indianapolis or for that matter Indiana. I live in Southern California and thought I had a lot to be thankful for with today’s current economy woes.
Today when reading up on current events in the Indianapolis and Zionsville Indiana areas I came across a few simple and yet encouraging articles / series on IndyStar.com.
I came across was their “Star Neighbors” series where once a week they run an article honoring an individual or group around the area. I thought it appropriate to give some love to these articles to shine a little light in times when most people could use a little bright light.
- Inspiring black youths through Boys II Men
- VA team provides care to home-bound veterans
- Holy Name music director inspires parishioners
- Woman has helped students avoid risky behaviors
- Tutor helps inmates get degrees
- Math teacher is dedicated to St. Mark students
- Tutor prepares students for college and life
This is just the last handful of articles written but if you want to browse them all and brighten your day then check out IndyStars Star Neighbors section.
On a side note: I’ve worked with Pat Haddad, her family and her team of real estate professionals for three years now. I’ve never bought or sold a home from them but my experience with them would lead me to believe that Pat should be considered as an Indy Star helping home owners and home buyers in the way that I envision she does. She is truly a professional on all levels for anyone interested in buying Indianapolis or Zionsville real estate. Maybe IndyStar will run a piece on her one of these weeks.
